Staying in Warwickshire

arwickshire is a county in England that has a rich history. Most well known for being the birthplace of the world renowned writer William Shakespeare, it is also the home to other literary icons and welcomes tourists from all over. The district of Stratford-on-Avon is by far the most popular district to visit, being home to Shakespeare, but other districts such as Rugby, Nuneaton and Bedworth are also notable.

You won’t have a problem finding Warwickshire hotel rooms available, with plenty of accommodation options to choose from. This quaint English county has plenty to see and do. Historic landmarks such as the Battle of Edgehill, Brinklow Castle, Kenilworth Castle and Warwick Castle are just a few of the spots you have to check out. If you’re more for natural destinations, check out Charlecote Park, Coombe Country Park, and Ladywalk Reserve.

For museum fans, you can visit the Midland Air Museum, the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, and the James Gilbert Rugby Football Museum. Attractions include Kingsbury Water Park, and the Heritage Motor Center. You can also see a variety of Abbeys, and Warwickshire’s famous canals: Oxford, Coventry, Grand Union, and the Stratford-on-Avon Canals. The River Avon was used as a connection to Leamington, using the Grand Union Canal as a junction.
