Everyone likes to mix and match during their holidays and visit different places all the time. In fact, discovering new places, along with new cultures, is the hallmark of holidays for many people. While some people do enjoy spending their holidays somewhere they know, a lot more like to experience new scenery, as well as different food and wine, a different culture – in short, an altogether different experience.
But even people who like to travel around a lot will have a few places that they like to return to periodically. Places that are probably packed full of good memories and that, somehow, have captured the holiday goer’s imagination to a point that he or she, although the lure for somewhere new is present, don’t mind going back to that one place. For me, that place is the Volga river in Russia, in all of its length and splendor. And the best way to enjoy them is on a cruise. My Volga river cruises have always been amazing, packed full of breathtaking scenery and amazing food. I’ve also enjoyed making friends with both the locals and the people on the cruise. You might never have heard about them, but they are very popular in Russia, so you get to meet a lot of Russians on holidays -which makes it a very fun trip to take.
