I recently read a Penn and Teller review in the Guardian online talking about a recent Penn and Teller show in the UK. Written by one of the reporters who was there he most definitely sounded impressed with what he had seen on stage using a couple of examples from the show to explain how good it was.
Firstly in this Penn and Teller review he used the example of how Teller spent 10 minutes in an underwater coffin. How does someone survive that? That is what makes them that good. You spend time wondering how it is done. The show is an mind confusing, eye opening show that will have you thinking about it for weeks afterwards. It is when you are thinking about it a week later that you truly realise how good the show really was. It is very rare these days that you get that kind of impact with any show so when they come along it is a great thing.
Finishing off the Penn and Teller review the reporter recommends them and why wouldn’t he? Surely spending an evening being baffled with pure genius is far better than watching the latest film at the cinema where everything gets blown up or shot. For an evening out Penn and Teller are top of my list.
